About Me
My name is Richard K. Bussey. I started MisterBussey.com as a resource for personalized
software. As the need arose or as businesses or acquaintances requested, I developed
specialized software. This website contains a repository of
software developed by me; mostly free (some are available by purchase only).
I began my computer career while I was still in high school. My first introduction
to computers was a TRS-80 Model III. More commonly referred to as the "Trash-80".
After high school, I joined the Marines. Based on my apptitude and interest, I chose
a career path of COBOL programmer. While serving in the Marine Corps I gained a
lot of applicable experience relating to micro-computer technology. When not engaged
in structured learning, I initiated self learning and development which increased
my knowledge about programming languages and networking. I learned everything I
could about networking, cabling, software, languages and hardware.
Following my honorable service in the Marine Corps, I took a job with Citicorp in
Washington, DC. During my career I have experienced a vast understanding and application
of computer languages, hardware, software, networking and communications. For a
summary of my career, my experiences and my skills, my on-line portfolio
is available for viewing.
